Laminated Pressman Board is a rigid, high-density insulation material designed for use in electrical and thermal applications requiring durability, dielectric strength, and dimensional stability. Manufactured by layering and bonding high-grade cellulose fibers under heat and pressure, this composite board offers superior performance in oil-immersed and dry-type electrical equipment.

Its multi-layered structure enhances mechanical strength, moisture resistance, and electrical insulation properties, making it an ideal choice for transformer partitions, switchgear insulation barriers, and structural electrical components.

 features:

  • Excellent electrical insulation and dielectric strength

  • High mechanical stability and rigidity under electrical load

  • Oil-resistant and thermally stable in high-temperature conditions

  • Dimensional consistency and resistance to warping

  • Suitable for machining, punching, and shaping

  • Available in custom sizes and thicknesses

Technical specifications:

  • Material: Laminated cellulose fiber (pressboard composite)

  • Thickness range: 1 mm to 50 mm

  • Dielectric strength: ≥ 8 kV/mm

  • Density: 1.0 to 1.3 g/cm³

  • Thermal class: Class A (105°C) or Class B (120°C), depending on grade

  • Oil compatibility: Suitable for mineral and ester-based transformer oils

  • Standards: IEC 60641, ASTM D3300

Applications:

  • Power and distribution transformer insulation

  • Oil-filled and dry-type transformer barriers

  • Switchgear insulation and support structures

  • Electrical motor insulation components

  • Capacitor and bushing structural insulation

Engineered for long-term performance, our laminated pressman boards are manufactured to meet stringent industry standards, ensuring reliability in high-voltage and high-temperature environments. They are trusted by OEMs and maintenance engineers for their consistent insulation performance, machinability, and adaptability to custom applications.
