Inhouse product
Electrical crepe paper is a flexible, high-dielectric insulating material made from 100% pure cellulose. Specially designed for use in oil-filled transformers, motors, switchgear, and other high-voltage electrical applications, this paper features a creped (corrugated) surface that enhances mechanical strength, flexibility, and oil absorption.
Widely used for wrapping transformer conductors, coil insulation, and lead protection, electrical crepe paper supports long-term thermal and electrical stability. It conforms easily to irregular shapes and maintains insulation integrity even under high thermal and mechanical stress.
features:
Excellent dielectric strength for high-voltage insulation
Superior flexibility and stretchability for tight or complex applications
High oil absorption capacity for use in oil-immersed systems
Durable under heat, mechanical pressure, and aging
Available in rolls, sheets, or custom-cut formats
Compatible with standard transformer oils and varnishes
Technical specifications:
Material: 100% pure cellulose
Thickness: 0.1 mm to 0.5 mm (before creping); creped thickness varies based on elongation
Elongation: 20% to 80%
Dielectric strength: ≥ 4 kV/mm
Operating temperature: Up to 105°C (Class A insulation)
Standards: IEC 60554, ASTM D3300
Applications:
Oil-immersed power and distribution transformers
Transformer lead and conductor insulation
Motor and generator coil wrapping
High-voltage bushing insulation
Cable termination and shielding
